What is Venetian plaster?
 

Venetian plaster is an Italian mineral-based plaster known as stucco that can be applied to any surface. The finish can be smooth, textured, and indistinguishable from real marble or other precious minerals. Choose from three finishes.

Microcement is a highly durable, multi-layer system for walls and floors in high-traffic areas. There are two main types; resin and mineral-based. Find out which is best for you.

  • How long does it take?
    Usually 2-3 days but it can take longer depending on how many layers we are applying. Sufficient time between primer, layers, burnishing and waxing is required.
  • Does it add value to a property?
    It's certainly a cost effective way to immediately increase the value of your property. A solid marble pillar or slab would cost significantly more than a marble effect in Venetian plaster which will have the same finish and texture at a fraction of the cost.
  • How long does it last for?
    Our materials are renowned for exceptional durability and ability to withstand the test of time. When applied correctly, it can last for decades, even centuries!
  • Can Venetian plaster and microcement get wet?
    Yes. Certain plasters are better suited for wet area but microcement is fully waterproof and can be used anywhere. For the plaster, we use multiple coats of wax to seal the area which makes it water-resistant. For areas such as bathrooms and kitchens splash-back areas which require more protection, we use a special sealer to fully waterproof the area.
